How do We Disinfect Your Home or Business?
We have three different levels of disinfection services available for your home or business. Which level you choose will depend on your specific needs and the suggestions offered by your Green Home Solutions representative.
Level 1: General Disinfection
Our level 1 disinfection services will treat your home or business with EPA-registered disinfectants and use our mandated protocols to keep your home or business safe. The Level 1 disinfection program includes:
• Treatment by a professional technician wearing approved personal protection equipment (PPE)
• Manual cleaning of all high-touch surfaces with a high-quality environmentally friendly cleaner
• Treatment of the property with our EPA-registered hospital-grade disinfectant, Green Home Solutions Mild Cleaner, which uses a proprietary blend of plant-based enzymes.
This process will take some time, depending on the size of the space, and occupants will need to remain away from the home or business for a few hours to let the products do their job. Once complete, this process will reset the indoor environment to a neutral state, and we do have the additional option of adding probiotics to the environment after the service.
Level 2: Enhanced Disinfection
This level of disinfection will treat your home or business with EPA-registered disinfectants and use our mandated protocols to keep your home or business safe. It will also include the application of Halosil’s HalomistTM, a proprietary hydrogen peroxide disinfectant formula that is proven to kill 99.9999% of C. difficile spores, along with a broad range of other pathogens in infection-prone environments. The level 2 disinfection program includes:
- Treatment by a professional technician wearing approved personal protection equipment (PPE)
- An established decontamination area outside your property which will be used to treat all team members and equipment who enter or leave your property during and after treatment
- Designated containment area(s) in your home to prevent the spread of bacteria, viruses, and other germs as we perform the work
- Manual cleaning of all surfaces with a high-quality environmentally friendly cleaner.
- Application of industry-leading mist disinfectant, which is known to kill more than 99.999% of all viruses and bacteria, including many recent viruses
In the level 2 program, the Halomist application process is known as a “wet application” that manually coats all surfaces with Halomist for a period of time. This process will take some time, depending on the size of the space, and occupants will need to remain away from the home or business for a few hours to let the products do their job. Once complete, this process will reset the indoor environment to a neutral state, and we do have the additional option of adding probiotics to the environment after the service.
Level 3: Hospital-Grade Disinfection
This level of disinfection has all the benefits of our level 2 disinfection, but with the added enhancement of the same system hospitals use to disinfect their spaces. Halosil’s dry fog system applies HaloMist with the HaloFogger, a device commonly utilized in hospitals nationwide. Halosil’s proprietary hydrogen peroxide disinfectant formula is proven to kill 99.9999% of C. difficile spores, along with a broad range of other pathogens in infection-prone environments. This process is known as a “dry fog” application.
The level 3 hospital-grade disinfection was developed by our team of experts as the best way to control viruses, germs, and bacteria. This program includes:
- Treatment by a professional technician wearing approved personal protection equipment (PPE)
- An established decontamination area outside your property which will be used to treat all team members and equipment who enter or leave your property during and after treatment
- Designated containment area(s) in your home to prevent the spread of bacteria, viruses, and other germs as we perform the work
- Manual cleaning of all surfaces with a high-quality environmentally friendly cleaner.
- Application of proprietary disinfection treatment, which is known to kill more than 99.999% of all viruses and bacteria, including many recent viruses
This process will take some time, depending on the size of the space, and occupants will need to remain away from the home or business for a few hours to let the products do their job. Once complete, this process will reset the indoor environment to a neutral state, and we do have the additional option of adding probiotics to the environment after the service.

Resetting Your Indoor Air
Once we have disinfected your space, it is important to protect your air with probiotic air purification systems that utilize environmental probiotics. Probiotics are good bacteria that create a natural line of defense against organic indoor contaminants. In the same way that taking probiotics as supplements helps the human body, they are also excellent as environmental cleaners.
Our technicians will choose and install a probiotic system that meets your space’s needs. This system is designed to balance your room with probiotics to overwhelm and eliminate bad bacteria, rebalancing your indoor ecology and mimicking nature’s healthy outdoor ecology.
